Bryan Crisman brought to the Roundtable a very unique story of service and survival aboard USS Yorktown at the Battle of Midway.  As the ship’s disbursing officer, he had responsibility for a half million dollars in cash, destined as the crew’s payroll upon returning from the battle.  What happened to Crisman and all that money at Midway makes a fascinating tale, which you can read here.
